Native Union (Re)Classic iPhone Case Review

Finding the right case for a new phone always feels like a bit of a mission. You want something that looks brilliant but does not turn your sleek device into a bulky brick. After picking up the silver iPhone 17 Pro, I spent ages looking for a cover that matched its clean aesthetic. I eventually settled on the Native Union (Re)Classic Case and it has honestly been a fantastic addition to my daily setup.

The first thing that struck me about this case is the material. It uses a clever animal-free leather alternative that is partly made from recycled plastics. It feels incredibly premium in the hand and has a lovely textured finish that combines smooth sections with a more grained look.

While there are several colours available like Navy and Slate Green, I went for the Tan version. The warm earthy tone of the Tan provides a beautiful contrast against the cool metallic finish of the silver iPhone. It gives the whole device a sophisticated and timeless feel.

In terms of performance, it hits all the marks without being over-designed. It is fully compatible with MagSafe so my chargers and wallets snap on perfectly every time. There is also a soft microfibre lining on the inside to keep the glass back safe from scratches. Even though it is quite slim, it still offers solid protection against drops from about two metres. The cutouts for the speakers and the camera control button are precise, ensuring a smooth, fuss-free experience.

This Native Union case is a great choice if you want to stay away from traditional leather while still enjoying a high end look. It manages to be sustainable and stylish at the same time. If you are looking for a way to protect your phone without sacrificing its design, this is a solid investment that feels built to last.
