KUXIU S4 Power Bank Review

The KUXIU S4 is one of the more interesting power banks I’ve tested in a while. It’s clearly designed with iPhone users in mind, but what really makes it stand out is the tech inside. You’ve got a semi-solid-state battery, support for Qi2.2 25W MagSafe charging, and a built-in TFT display that shows charging information in real time. I’ve been using the S4 alongside my iPhone 17 Pro for the past couple of weeks, and overall it’s left a pretty good impression.

Inside The Box

Inside the box, things are kept nice and simple. You get the power bank itself, a USB-C to USB-C cable, and the usual paperwork. Just bear in mind there’s no wall charger or case included in the package.

Design & Build

The S4 is built from aluminium alloy, giving it a premium feel in the hand while still remaining lightweight at just 214 grams. Considering there’s a 10,000mAh battery packed inside, it’s impressively slim too, coming in at around 13.5mm thick. On the bottom, there’s a USB-C port alongside a single multi-function button.

On the back of my iPhone 17 Pro, the fit feels completely seamless. The built-in magnets are incredibly strong too, so it snaps perfectly into place every single time. One of my favourite features is the integrated stand. It lets you prop your iPhone up in either portrait or landscape while charging, which is ideal for FaceTime calls, StandBy mode, or just watching content at your desk. As for colours, the S4 comes in either black or the vibrant Cosmic Orange that I’m using here.

Charging Performance

In terms of charging speeds, as well as up to 30 watts via USB-C, the S4 supports the latest Qi2.2 standard, delivering up to 25 watts of wireless power. It works with the iPhone 12 and newer, although you’ll only get the full 25 watt speeds with an iPhone 16 or later.

And if you do have one of Apple’s newer iPhones, this thing is seriously quick. With my iPhone 17 Pro, I was able to go from 0 to 50 percent in around 25 minutes, and up to 80 percent in about 50 minutes, which is incredibly impressive for such a compact battery pack.

TFT Display

The built-in TFT display is another feature I’ve grown to appreciate. It gives you real-time information like the current charge level, battery health, charging speed, and even the temperature of the pack itself. It’s genuinely useful being able to just glance down and instantly see exactly what’s going on, especially when you want to check how fast your iPhone is actually charging.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I’ve come away impressed with the KUXIU S4. The aluminium build quality gives it a genuinely premium feel, the magnets are incredibly strong, and the Qi2.2 charging speeds make it one of the fastest power banks I’ve personally used. And because it uses a semi-solid-state battery, it should be safer for everyday carry.

What really makes the S4 stand out though is just how versatile it is. It works brilliantly as a portable charger when you’re travelling, but thanks to the built-in stand and TFT display, it also doubles as a handy desk companion throughout the day. If you’re an iPhone user looking for a premium magnetic power bank that genuinely feels next-generation, this is an easy one to recommend.
